UFW Know Your Rights Presenation + Q&A

What: This event is an informative space where you’ll learn about your rights as a worker and community member. Hosted by the United Farm Workers (UFW), this session will provide essential information to help you stay informed and empowered. After the presentation, there will be a Q&A session where you can ask questions and get the answers you need. This sessions will also include role play escenarios if you encounter ICE.

Este evento es un espacio informativo donde aprenderás sobre tus derechos como trabajador y miembro de la comunidad. Organizado por los Trabajadores del Campo Unidos (UFW), esta sesión proporcionará información esencial para ayudarte a mantenerte informado y empoderado. Después de la presentación, habrá una sesión de preguntas y respuestas donde podrás hacer preguntas y obtener las respuestas que necesitas. Esta sesión también incluirá escenarios de interpretación de roles en caso de que te enfrentes a ICE.

Family Literacy Carnival and Immigration Resource Fair (Community Resource)

 

What: Connect with a variety of community organizations dedicated to supporting immigrants and learn about valuable resources and programs designed for Spanish speakers and English Language Learners of all ages. The fair will also include carnival games, activities, prizes, and delicious snacks. 

      • Conéctate con una variedad de organizaciones comunitarias dedicadas a apoyar a los inmigrantes y conoce recursos y programas valiosos diseñados para hablantes de español y aprendices de inglés de todas las edades. La feria también incluirá juegos de carnaval, actividades, premios y deliciosos bocadillos.
